Sony VISCA RS232 cable Connector :

To connect a Sony camera to the computer you need to make a Visca RS232 cable. How to make this cable is explained in this section. The Visca Din plug is a very special plug which can only be obtained in a special electronics shop. The This cable works for the SONY EVI-D30, EVI-D70, and EVI-D100.

I notice on your response you indicated that you use this device as a Webcam.
Having finally got the S-Video cables sorted out and plugged in through USB - I can not get the PC to detect and stream from the EVU D100P -

Any suggestions on the software I should be using in order to do this.

Cheers
